CHILDREN'S RACE

Feel the magic of trail running and register your child for the upcoming edition of the Kids' Race at Vodno-Matka Trails! The Kids' Race will take place on Sunday, April 5th, at the Makedonsko Selo complex in Gorno Nerezi, starting from 9:45 to 10:30 AM.

RACES FOR ALL AGES

Sunday, April 5th, at the Makedonsko Selo complex in Gorno Nerezi, starting from 9:45 to 10:30 AM. Race bib pickup starts at 9:05 AM right before the start.

4-6

YEARS

Our youngest heroes will run 100 meters filled with joy, and we will cheer them on with the loudest applause as they take their very first mountain steps!

7-9

YEARS

A 300-meter trail awaits these little explorers, where through smiles and play, they will show their passion for movement and friendship in the fresh air!

10-12

YEARS

The oldest in this group will conquer 700 meters, demonstrating true sporting spirit and mutual support all the way to the finish line!

FREE PARTICIPATION

By filling out the registration form, the parent/guardian agrees to allow their child to participate in the Kids' Race. They confirm that their child is capable of participating in the race and are aware of any potential adverse consequences for their child during participation in the event, and they personally assume the risk and accept full responsibility.

EVERY CHILD IS A CHAMPION!

Our philosophy is simple: sports for children must be a game, not an elimination. Instead of a race for first place, we are creating a race for friendship where every child at the finish line is a winner and receives a well-deserved medal.

All children will wear the start number 1. We want to take the pressure off the youngest ones and show them that simply showing up at the starting line is the greatest success. There will be no ranking, timing, or podiums in this race – for us, the most important prize is the smile and the love for the mountain.

Distances and categories:
4-6 years ± 100 meters, start at 10:10
7-9 years ± 300 meters, start at 10:00
10-12 years ± 700 meters, start at 9:50

This activity is organized in cooperation with the National Federation "Sport for All," which operates in Macedonia under the patronage and support of the Agency for Youth and Sport. The Federation was created with the primary goal of raising awareness about the need for physical activity and directly involving citizens in sports and recreational activities, regardless of gender, age, social status, religion, or ethnicity.
