The Vodno-Matka Ultra Trail is the longest of the "Vodno-Matka Trails" and is a one-day sports event – a mountain running race with a length of 45 kilometers and an altitude difference of 2800 meters. The race takes place in the vicinity of the city of Skopje - on the Vodno mountain and in the Matka canyon - an area that abounds with natural rarities and cultural monuments from the past.
This iconic race that goes up and down all the way to Matka Canyon and back is recommended for experienced ultra-runners with solid physical and mental fitness to complete this very demanding trail challenge.
