Vodno-Matka Long Trail is the "one-for-all" race of "Vodno-Matka Trails" with a length of 32 kilometers and 1,680 meters of elevation gain.

During the races, the participants have the opportunity to visit the most beautiful places on the Vodno mountain and beautiful places for observing the Skopje valley and the mountains that surround it — and in the distance the picturesque Šarplaninа massif dotted with the remnants of winter snow.
Runners in good physical shape will enjoy the panoramas during this medium-easy mountain race.

The race passes through the following locations:
Sredno Vodno (start) – Markovo Krufche – Tsutsul – Vodno Peak – Pensioner’s Cabin – Foya – St. Panteleimon – Gorno Nerezi – Kodra Hamed (Blagoec) – Damacule – Kale – Chukal – St. Petka – Kodra e Daris – Pepov Dab – Rtishan – Kromidarevets – Gorno Brdce (Gorno Sonje) – Dudikov Hill – Vodno Peak – Children's Resort – Sredno Vodno (finish).

FAQ

The starting fee provides a starting package with a branded gift and participation in one of the Vodno-Matka Trails races. The event is organized according to top world criteria and the achieved results are internationally verified by ITRA, which are scored in the National League.

The paths have been cleared of vegetation and every 30 meters on average there is a marking; every 5-10 km there are fully equipped refreshment stations; and volunteers, race marshals, mountain rescue teams and medical personnel are distributed in key places throughout the race.

Do I need to wear mandatory equipment?

There is no mandatory equipment, but it is strongly recommended that each participant at least bring a mobile phone, an emergency medical foil (or a windbreaker), a bottle for half a liter of water and a silicone cup for liquids (the race does not have plastic/cardboard cups at refreshment stations)!

How can I register and pay the starting fee?

Registration is done only on the website www.vodnomatka.mk by successfully completing the application for one of the races, after which an automatically generated confirmation is sent to the e-mail address specified in the application.
Registration will be considered complete only after successful payment of the entry fee for the race (either by card through the site or through a bank with a payment slip).

Can the starting number be picked up on the day of the race at the start?

On the day of the race - before the start - only those who have informed us via email can pick up the start package. But also those who are not able to pick up the starter pack in person - it is allowed for a third party to pick it up for them (only with notification-authorization sent by email).

Are there club discounts or elites/influencers free entry fees?

A group discount of 10% of the regular price is valid for 8+ participants, payment by bank slip only.
Free start numbers for competitors with ITRA Index 750+ (men) and 600+ (women), and podium holders from 2024 edition.
